We grew up watching movies in which Humanity has often stood against Pandemics, Natural disasters and often Human induced disasters. We always had mighty heroes saving the planet from unseen and unknown dark forces. I always knew these are films but in reality, we are well protected and safe.
Today as some part of the world stands still in shock and the other part is putting a fight to the pandemic, it seems as the reality is being inspired by the movies. This is the time when we need to rise above this dark force and stand with each other beyond individual / tribal or community norms and values to face it together as one force like “Resistance” (as we call it in Star Wars).
If you look beyond this filmy imagination, in reality, there is something that the Universe wants to tell us. It has given us a great opportunity to connect back with our roots, family and especially the lost human value of ‘Service’.
Not in human life but in a Planet’s lifetime rarely comes a time when your habitat gives you a second chance to RESET your relationship with itself. We have been watching the strange stories of Animals coming out on the roads, Dolfin returning back to shore, Air Quality improving, Ozone Healing, Rare bird species being spotted around (one below was spotted by me in my neighborhood), are all signs that the planet needed restoration.
The Adversity has also given us the opportunity to INTROSPECT and RE-EVALUATE as to what are we chasing in our life. Even resources and money are not able to save us today from the pandemic. Not often life gives you a Pause and then Play option as these Lockdowns have. Let’s use it wisely to rethink our Life’s purpose, direction, new priorities and do the course correction, affirming to live life more responsibly and consciously.
Start preparing for the New Era as the chaos will start fading away and a new order of humanity will rise out of this Pandemic experience. Keep yourself positive, keep energizing your surroundings, people and start practicing the conscious act of good Service to the world around you.
