Is Your Mind Saying – I can’t do it?

Is your mind saying i can’t do it? Is Spiritual Growth Noida an answer? Someone who talks to us even before anyone else does, is our own mind. Thoughts occur naturally to us and hence they are not self-sabotaging in nature. What drains us is the “Thinking” which is a conscious activity. Thoughts will come and go, but thinking is something that has a conscious control and choice we make here will determine the dwelling emotions. The events that happen in our lives don’t cause worries, it’s the thinking about those events that traps us in worrying.

The good news is that we can stop thinking but the bad news is that we will have to die for it. The human mind is designed with intellect and ability to think hence we can’t stop it, nor should we attempt at stopping it. Rather we should be mindful and conscious of what thoughts to think about and act on. The only way of living a better life is to consciously choose the response and thinking. Giving your mind space to what you can control and avoiding to spend much time on what’s outside your control will leave you focused to take actions in life, rather than waiting for things to happen automatically.

What’s Real and What’s Not

This self sabotaging behavior creates a false sense of reality in us as we start believing our perceptions to be reality. When you have a task in hand and your mind says “I can;t do it”, it is due to the perception of ‘lack of skill’ that has been created in our mind and our thinking around it will further limit us from even giving it a try, presuming the fundamental skills are known. We often confuse the proficiency level with not possessing the skill at all. Another excuse we bring up is not having the confidence to do a task. I urge you to take a pause and remember any of your highlights or greatest work that you have done. I’m very sure you would have done the best of your work when you had no or less prior experience of it. Remember: Confidence comes only after you have done it. Being open to the unknown space has the potential to greatness. Confidence to deliver will only come after you have experienced it. The best thing about being in an unknown space is that you are not restricted to think.

So next time if your mind tells you “i can;t do it”, remember it’s just a false sense of perception. Our mind will always try to protect us from the unknown but the growth and greatness will come if you conquer it.

Sending Love and Joy
